Anne Berg specializes in marketing and brand strategy and has worked in the field for 25 years. She has worked with clients in many industries, including medical, legal, financial, consumer products, retail, airline, agribusiness, high-tech, telecommunicaitons and hospitality.
Prior to creating her own consultancy, she worked in advertising and public relations for 12 years at Martin/Williams of Minneapolis. She has received industry recognition from organizations including the International Association of Business Communicators and the Public Relations Society of America. She has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of St. Thomas Marketing and Business Communications program. She has worked with companies including ADC Telecommunications, Dayton Hudson Corporate, Medtronic, Northwest Airlines, Target Stores and 3M Health Care.
Jessica de Soria was the Chairperson for the Graphic Design and Multimedia Department at the Community College of Denver from 2002 - 2004. In 2004 she was presented with the Outstanding Instructor of the Year Award by AIGA of Colorado and in 2003 Best Design School participation by the Art Directors Club of Denver. During her tenure as Chairperson, the Department won prizes for numerous designs, including three "Best in Show" awards. Before her tenure as Chairperson, she had been Art Director for a mid-sized multimedia and print design firm., Creative Director for a nationally published magazine and she has headed the graphics department at an interior and architectural firm.
Jessica has managed a variety of small and large scope design projects with various creative teams, both, in private and public sectors. She has directed projects from concept to implementation. She speaks the language of the writers photographers, designers, and web developers and as such effectively assures meeting deadlines and adherence to timelines.
Peter McDonald is a skilled writer, editor, researcher, and interviewer. McDonald has an extensive background in corporate communications including business writing, marketing, public relations, and technical communications. He has researched, written, and edited everything from 80-page property buyers’ guides for the resort and real estate industry to newsletters for non-profits to proposals for military and other government contracts. He has written speeches for corporate executives, grants, press releases and articles for newspapers and magazines. He has been active in conducting interviews for various oral history projects and has published and edited custom historical magazines for towns and companies.
With both a B. A. in Journalism and a Master of Divinity degree, Peter also takes a strong interest in the ethics of a corporation, and more recently has been studying spirituality in the workplace, and its effect on morale, performance, and profitability.
Michael McIntee is the founder of TimeScape Productions, a company that produces corporate and family history videos on DVDs. His background is TV news and production. For the 13 years he managed All News Channel -- a national television news channel. He has also created and supervised programming for cable networks USA, VH1, Lifetime, and Outdoor Life. Michael is an expert producer, writer, and video editor. As a former member of one of Hubbard Broadcasting's senior management teams, he is also well versed in business management and marketing practices. He is currently on the Association of Personal Historians board of directors.
Michael’s specialty is finding the human stories in any organization and using them to illustrate its vision, goals, and culture. His specific services include: on location or studio videotaping and interviewing, information and visual research, producing and scripting, post production editing including custom graphics and music, DVD authoring and Web video creation.

Henry Owen has four decades of experience in communications beginning first as a reporter for UPI. He joined the Minneapolis Tribune as a copy editor and then joined 3M Public Relations working in product publicity, investor relations, media relations and creative services – always with an emphasis on writing.
He has tackled highly technical topics and transformed them into engaging and informative speeches, articles and news releases. Many of Owen’s authored speeches have been re-printed in “Vital Speeches of the Day”, as well as the Business Speaker’s Almanac, published by Prentice-Hall.
Judy Schuster was a manager at 3M for nearly 20 years and worked as a journalist for five years before turning her talents to public relations. Her experience includes employee communications, speech writing, financial writing, PR planning (including press releases and press kits) and PR planning.
Judy has won numerous awards for her writing, both as a newspaper journalist and as a public relations professional. Early in her career, she was named Kansas Press Woman of the Year. Today, she specializes in writing and editing feature stories, press kits and speeches and is expert at producing quality copy on a tight deadline.
William Schuster spent 42 years in the newspaper business, including 33 years at the Minneapolis Star Tribune where he served as a copy and layout editor for that major metropolitan daily newspaper. He is highly skilled in writing, publication editing and media relations.
Maureen Standish is a highly organized and efficient Project Manager. She keeps projects on track toward completion, manages every aspect, transcribes interviews using sophisticated digital software, acts as liaison with both clients and vendors, and generally keeps us laughing. She is also very creative and is involved in the design and production end of the business.
Maureen comes to Pine & Partners with 20-plus years of work experience in administration, accounting and marketing, having received her education and training at the American Institute of Banking and Syracuse University.
